Terms and conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by Alpine Kitchens (‘AK’, ‘our’) to the customer (‘Client’, ‘you’). By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Quotations and Pricing
All quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
Prices may vary due to material cost fluctuations; any adjustments will be communicated before proceeding with the work. A 50% deposit is required to confirm an order, with 30% progress payment following production, with the final 20% balance due within 7 days of installation.
Orders and Customisation
Custom orders require detailed specifications from the Client. A bespoke design and drawing will be presented following initial consultation with the Client. The design and drawing are copyright protected and remain the property of AK. They cannot be used unless the company is remunerated or an order is confirmed. Any modifications requested after production begins may incur additional charges.
Payment Terms
Payments must be made in accordance with the agreed schedule. Late payments may be subject to additional charges, including interest at 5% per month. AK retains ownership of all products until full payment has been received.
Delivery and Installation
Delivery and installation dates are approximate and subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. The Client must ensure clear access to the installation site. Any additional work required due to site conditions may incur extra charges.
Warranty and Liability
Once your kitchen units have been delivered, you will have up to 28 days to claim for any missing items or damaged items. Outside of these timeframes the warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, neglect, or unauthorised modifications. Liability for any defects is limited to repair or replacement at our discretion.
The Client’s electrical goods, stone worktops and BLUM hardware will be covered as per the goods warranty service.
Cancellations and Refunds
Orders cancelled before production begins may be eligible for a refund minus administrative fees.
Custom orders are non-refundable once production has started. Refunds for defective products will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Indemnification
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold AK harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from misuse or improper installation by third parties.
Amendments
AK reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time, with notice provided to the Client where applicable.
