To kick off our new blog, we thought we would tell you a bit more about us and what makes our kitchens so unique here in this wonderful part of the French Alps that we are so lucky to call home.

Why Us?

We started Alpine Kitchens in 2019, with a clear vision in mind: become the first bespoke kitchen manufacturers in Morzine.

We have set up our workshop in Montriond, near the town of Morzine, and everything we do is run from here. This makes site visits, delivery and installation easier as we are always a few kilometres away from you and your project.

We have since created and installed a number of beautiful kitchens (but not only) in the Morzine, Chamonix and Val d’Isère area. If you want to see some of our projects in more detail, check our portfolio page for all the latest work.

Let’s deep dive into the main steps of the creation process of your new dream kitchen:

Step 1: Visiting your Home

Isn’t designing a new kitchen one of the most invigorating and exciting parts of renovating or creating your home? Kitchens We understand that - regardless of your kitchen size -  it can be an important investment. This is why we talk you through every step of the process and we usually have the initial consultation in your home, so that we can get a feel for the space and take all measurements for the next step.

Step 2:  Designing your Bespoke Kitchen

Most of the processes that go into creating and delivering our kitchens remain in-house. This means that, after the initial consultation, we create a mock-up of your dream kitchen from our office in Morzine, using the most up to date software to make each design fully come to life.

You will receive a floor plan and 3D design (including proposed colour references) of your kitchen that you can review and

Step 3: Quote and Review

Once you have had a chance to review your design, we will send over the updated quote with a breakdown of all costs that go into your design, so that you are in full control of your spending.

Step 4:  Cutting your Cabinets

What’s special about our workshop you might ask? We have a CNC machine that allows us to cut each and every one of our kitchens in-house so that we can see your kitchen taking shape.

Once the design is finalised, this is transferred to our skilled in-house team for the cutting and manufacturing stage. This is something we are very proud of, as it simply means that we have full control over each and every cabinetry that leaves our workshop, ensuring the finished products we install are of the highest of standards.

Step 5:  Fitting

We don’t hide costs in our cabinets, so on your quote you will know what the cost and timing will be related to this stage of the process. There are a lot of details and specific construction systems that go into the making of our kitchens. This is why we have a team of specialists and qualified fitters, that will bring your kitchen to life with the greatest attention to detail.

Our Suppliers

We work with a curated selection of suppliers that have been chosen for their professionalism, quality of product and for helping us bring creative and long-lasting solutions to your new dream kitchen.

During your first consultation, we will walk you through the different materials and range of finishes that are available. If you have something specific in mind, we are always happy to find new and additional solutions that best fit your needs, whether is a bespoke colour for your cabinets or unique material.
